Very fun Assasin killing Build N/Me
Alright, Ive been doing this build in RA for ages now, and it has never failed me yet, and never seems to be any less fun.
Curses 12+1+2, Domination 10, Soul Reaping 8+1
[skill]Signet of Lost Souls[/skill][skill]Parasitic Bond[/skill][skill]Price of Failure[/skill][skill]Spiteful Spirit[/skill][skill]Empathy[/skill][skill]Backfire[/skill][skill]Arcane Echo[/skill] Rez Sig
If casted Backfire first, SS, Empathy, PoF, Echo'd Backfire, then Parasitic bond, the Assasin will kill himself FAST. You will most likely be attacked by him so I suggest that you have a superior rune of vigor and bonelace armor. IF you are facing a hexing Assasin, simply add
[skill]Hex Breaker[/skill] and [skill]Shatter Hex[/skill].
If you choose to overkill, replace Price of Failure with
[skill]Insidious Parasite[/skill]
Now, if you are facing an enchanting Assasin, add
[skill]Desecrate Enchantments[/skill][skill]Shatter Enchantment[/skill]
This build also works on almost any melee, and it is REALLY fun in RA. I suggest you guys try it.

looks like a standard anti-melee build. Not bad but i suggest using [card]Wail of Doom[/card], its much more fun imo. Nothing like disrupting the assassins first attack and screwing up his whole combo.

I like using Insidious Parasite cause if they assasin is attacking you, his attacks are negligated. The worst thing that happens with this on 1 vs 1 is that he stops attacking xP

I think the main problem with this build is its reliance on the opposition being absolutely stupid.

Lol, exactly, if they stop attacking you, then you dont have to worry about them, once that happens just cast the hexs on other opponents

Backfire is bad.
Echo'd backfire is worse.
Try some useful skills, such as spirit of failure, or reckless.
I'd much rather run this ;
[skill]Corrupt Enchantment[/skill][skill]Faintheartedness[/skill][skill]Price of Failure[/skill][skill]Reckless Haste[/skill][skill]Signet of Lost Souls[/skill][skill]Parasitic Bond[/skill]
Then either [skill]hex breaker[/skill] or [skill]glyph of lesser energy[/skill]
and [skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
That alone will shut down melee as well as provide cheap, quick recharging enchantment removal with heavy degen.
Backfire and Empathy on a necro are fairly pointless, run spirit of failure if you need an anti-melee hex from the /Me.
Note ; dropping [skill]Corrupt Enchantment[/skill] for [skill]Reaper's Mark[/skill] works too.

Ok to be i dont want to sound like an ass but you only need 1 skill to cripple assassin, insidious parasite. Quick cast and deadly results, i've seen many assassin kill themselves after shadow stepping towards me. Also since your using insidious on one enemy you might as well carry some of the mention skills like faintheartdness or the other crippling curses spells to greatly lower the dps of the the other melee characters in the arena.

In RA I run:
[skill]Backfire[/skill][skill]Shatter Enchantment[/skill][skill]Parasitic Bond[/skill][skill]Toxic Chill[/skill][skill]Vile Miasma[/skill][skill]Empathy[/skill][skill]Consume Corpse[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
In AB I take out the mesmer skills and the signet for [skill]Enduring Toxin[/skill][skill]Dash[/skill][skill]Signet of Toxic Shock[/skill][skill]Deadly Paradox[/skill].
The AB build couldn't be more fun. Consume corpse is God Mode.

I use the corrupt enhanc build in RA for glad farming. Just replace sig of lost sould with insidous parasite and you got the perfect tai chee necro.
He can shut down 2 melee, and the more the other party uses enhancments the deadlyer he becomes.
As for runes, use only minor runes, so you can take damage.
I love seeing a sin attack through insidious, a good one will reduce my life to half and his to 20%, then he pushs neutrality that is converted to -8 degen with corrupt. I also love to see sor monks spending 15 energy just to gain -8 degen. or invinci dervish attack me through reckless and price while i decimate their enhanced ele, just to return to them and kill them with the energy i just got from his death + their own enhancments.
since necros are rarly hexed to shut them down, i take gole over hexbreaker.
The only thing that posses a thread to such a build is an interrupt ranger/mesmer. So if you face a ranger he's your #1 priority. Shut him down first even if it results in getting bashed by a sin (with 590 health you can allow yourself to suffer damage).
The only one that kills this build is a power block mesmer.

Pretty standard anti-melee build...seems like you just stuck every anti-melee skill on there along with backfire for casters.
Build is very vulnerable to interrupts, and a good ranger or mesmer will make short work of you.
